She is really working on crawling! Sometimes she pushing up and then lays down on her side and stretches forward and pushes up again. Sometimes she just gets up on her knees and rocks back and forth. Other times she will do the knee rock but if she sees something she wants she starts to do the "worm" so she can get to it quickly! It is so fascinating to see how a baby goes from not moving at all to crawling....I don't think it will be long before our little B takes off on her hands and knees :)

Florida

Brooklyn took her first flight ever this past week! We went to Tampa, Florida for my 10 year reunion (YES 10 YEARS!!! CRAZY!). We were super excited to see old friends, meet new ones, and of course look around Florida College and reminise about about all the fun times we had! Hard to believe that Brad and I met 9 years ago at this school! Lots has happened since then :)

I was soooo nervous about our little squirmy girl sitting for 2 1/2 hours on the flight. We decided to take her carseat on (maybe she would think we were in the car and she would fall asleep...ha!) and I had a bag packed full of things to keep her occupied (Grammy also hooked her up with a few items as well!).

Then FELL ASLEEP the rest of the way......woo hoo!!!

We arrived in Florida and everyone on the plane just ooed and aahed over her and told us what a good baby she was :)

Brooklyn is NOT a light packer...HA!

One of the highlights of the trip was getting to stay with Aaron and Kristin Thompson and meet their lovely daughter Molly for the first time. Aaron went to school with Brad and I and Kristin was there a year later after I left. Molly was born two days before Brooklyn and from the beginning Kristin and I have been in non stop communication through email about EVERTYHING pertaining to our daughters! We describe each other as long lost best friends and these two precious girls brought us together :) We were so excited to meet their sweet girl and introduce Brooklyn to her new friend!

David and Jamie (she went to FC with us) Baldwin also stayed with the Thompsons and their sweet daughter Millie was just precious! I posted some videos of Millie and Brooklyn. I tried and tired to put a video up of the 3 girls together but it would never work :( I'll keep trying..they are sooo cute!

Park Day!

The second day of the reunion was park day where everyone could bring their kids!

What a bunch!! We enjoyed getting to see two of my BFF's from college, Kayleen and Ashley, and their adorable kids! We attempted a picture; this was the best shot we could get...HAHAHA! What a memory :)

Family picture back on the Florida College Campus....kinda neat to think that the last time Brad and I were here we were just dating...now we are a little family :)

6 Months

Happy 6 Months Rollie-Pollie!!

Here is what you have been up to this past month:

Side Note: This was a BIG month for you Miss Brooklyn! So many changes! Mommy and Daddy just didn't know what to think! It was so fun to see you grow....mixed emotions for sure, but we were so happy for you and loved seeing you so happy and proud of yourself!!!!

• You weigh 16lbs (Your 6 month appt. is not till Feb. 17th so I do not know how long you are yet) *UPDATE * 26 3/4 inches
• You are now in a size 3 diaper although they seems a little big still, but the 2's were too tight!
• You are wearing 6 month clothes.
• You have discovered your feet (this actually started last month, but I forgot to mention it) I took a picture of you enjoying your.....TOES! ;)
• You know your name...every time we say it you look at us :)
• It is very obvious when you reach for us now. It is so cute and most of the time I just can't pass you up ;)
• Also at the beginning of the month you started sitting. First with your hands kinda propping you and now you can sit without any help! Sometimes you topple over but you rarely cry :)
• You started standing by yourself if you are leaning on something. I snapped a picture of you doing this with you toy table. You don't do this for very long, but you like to try!
• You are getting louder (discovering your voice)....you started this new screeching thing. We don't know what to think about it....HA!
• You LOVE water bottles. Sometimes if you are crying in the car I will pull out a water bottle and you will stop and just stare at it. And you like to chew on it and pretend to drink from it...HA!
• You LOVE to chew on TAGS. You always find the satin tag to blankets, pillows, and one of your favorites is the tag on your boppy.
• You have been rolling from your belly to your back for a little while now, but this month you went from your back to your belly! Now you are unstoppable rolling everywhere. I call you my little Rollie-Pollie :)
• You have TWO teeth now! Your two lower teeth came in just abut a week apart!
• You balanced on ALL FOURS this month! I couldn't believe it! Such a strong girl...mommy is getting ready for the day you take off!
• I no longer have to squirt your vitamins in your mouth, you just suck it right out of the tube. You like your vitamins.
• You held your own bottle....you hadn't had a bottle in a long time and when Brad watched you so I could have a girls night he sent me a picture of you holding it all by yourself! Go Brooklyn!

Today I went to put Brooklyn on her belly and this is what she did!!!!

So she stayed just like this for a minute and then fell to her belly. I think her face says it all....she's like, "Wow mommy, this is kinda cool....now what do I do?!?" Hehe! I don't know what this means in terms of crawling (like how much longer before she takes off from this position), but it is truly amazing to see all these changes. Such a strong little girl she is....awwww I just can't get enough :)

Well I have been singing the "10 in a Bed" song this week to Brooklyn, emphasizing the "ROLL OVER! ROLL OVER!" part....HA!

Yep lots of changes this month. Brooklyn is rolling all over the place! She has been rolling from her belly to her back for a little while now (a lot of the times I think it was on accident), BUT not any more. She has officially conquered rolling from her back to her belly. It was really cute! She loves the TV remote and I just put it alittle bit out of reach and she just went for it with all her might and boom she did it! Now she is back and forth, back and forth, and loving it! Sometimes she gets her arm stuck and cries, but lately she has done great! I have a video of her rolling but it is not uploading well :( I will keep trying! In the mean time here is a picture....

Houston we have a TOOTH....well almost!

So after months and months of drooling and chewing on everything in sight WE HAVE A TOOTH....well it's coming! Two days ago it cut and today we can feel the little tip. At first I wanted to cry right along with her, she is growing up so fast *tear*, but with a big smile on my face I told her what a BIG girl she is becoming! B is such a trooper....I just love her!!!

We tried to snap a few pictures of the occasion! I will put more up when we can actually SEE the tooth ha!

2011 and a Shout Out :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Well it's officially 2011! I don't really have much to post about that HA! Well....except that we are looking forward to a wonderful year with out little girl! We were all in bed early on New Years and just listened to the fireworks going off all around our house. I kept worrying they were going to wake B up! I guess that's what happens when you become a parent...hehe. No more late nighst for these two parents.....even if it is New Years! HA!

Anyway....

B just wanted to send a Shout Out to some very special people in her life!
